Meet the Band
A few years ago, lead singer Matt Weiss started taking voice lessons with Jeff Moidel. Since he was already an accomplished musican he decided that creating a band where he could share both his instrumental and vocal talent was the next logical step.
Matt was born on the Island of Maui, and has always had a strong connection to Hawaii. Macadamia nuts are one of the most popular and iconic treats in Hawaii. Wanting to name his band something that sounded fun and went back to his early roots just made sense. Plus let’s not forget the King - Elvis himself made 3 films in Hawaii and the Macadamians enjoy playing many of his hits.
